Default Heba Diffuser on a KM

Those of you who have tried it probably know what I'm talking about. I've managed to make it fit right below that "nut" or whatever it is, but obviously the stem is not low enough in the diffuser for it to function optimally. Have any of you guys managed to place the diffuser further up without destroying that elastic thingy that holds it in place? I only have one so I wanna make sure it will work before I get to tha choppa.

It works just fine like you have it. Put the water level the same as you did before.

What I did was soak the gasket in really hot water to soften it up, then with a sharp knife make a small slit in it to make it a bit wider. It should slip over the "nut" and stay put once it hardens back up.

Yup I did the same thing except for I didn't soak it in hot water. All I did was take a utility knife and cut 3 small slits in the down part in the middle and was able to stretch it over. Unfortunately I don't think I will be able to get it off without ruining that gasket so it just stays on there permanately. I just take the bottom part off when i wash it. I'm not bothered by it on there because the diffusers from hookah-shisha.com have a small one with it too and that's the one I use for my other hookahs because it fits them all.

I tried stretching it past the nut and while I got it over, the diffuser isn't wide enough to actually fit the nut inside it so I can't even connect it to the gasket that way. I did get it off without problems though, so you probably could too zlj. I now found a small plastic bottle that should fit both around the nut and inside the gasket so I'll try to make a custom one and see how it goes.
