Default Mint in the base

I saw somewhere around this forum that a member suggested putting mint and lemon slices in the base to give the smoke a more refreshing feel. I decided to try it out and see how it went. I packed a bowl of fantasia Ace of Spades and bought some fresh mint leaves and chopped them up and put them in the base with some ice water. I must say it made this minty flavor even mintier and refreshing, i suggest doing this with your mint flavor/mix of choice to make it even better.

Wow nice, looks worthy to try!

Were it just mint leaves from the supermarket? And did you get that fresh taste in the back of your throat from the mint?

I tried it a few times but not with mint leaves. We only had did Peppermint/Mint oil flavoring. And put 3 drops in the bowl. First time we did it, we put to much and it was overpowering everything. but 2-3 drops and it was perfect. it added a subtle mint to any flavor you smoked.

Yeah, just fresh mint leaves, I got mine from the produce section. Fresh leaves are gonna provide more flavor when soaked in the water from the base. In the beginning of the session there was a nice fresh mint taste along with the normal mint sensation of the shisha.

it might be nice adding to a flavour that isnt mint , apple or grape go fantastic with grape, and hopefully it would be more noticeable than using with a mint flavour

I tried lots of things in base.

Fruit juice, like apple/peach or mango, but it didn't work out so well, neither did strawberry.
Wine worked out quite nice (white).
I rather get some apple or grape shisha than putting apple/grape flavour in the vase I think

Putting mint leaves and lemon slices in the base sounds good if the tobacco was like an iced tea flavor! I would like to try it with Tangiers Green Tea! Sounds delicious

I'm going to try the lemons, instead of water, i usually use something with a bit of flavor, like glacier freeze gatorade

Did you get a weird feeling in your chest from using juice? I did when I tried orange juice and iced tea. I think its because of all the sugar or something.

glacier freeze? Everyone knows cool blue is far superior.
If you want crazy mint in the back of your throat feelings.. smoke some SS Absolute Zero. Or sprinkle a little bit into another flavor.

You could also muddle some mint leaves with limes or lemons and add it. Plus whenever you add the shisha flavoring, it turns somewhat into a flavored mojito. I'd only suggest doing this with fruit flavored shisha though.
