also if you use alu alabed charcoals they only take about 3 minutes on a hob anyway, time im sure ull agree is hardly worth the need to cut down with instant lights, if you do however swift lite and al fakher are both good quality instant light STAY AWAY from market sold unbranded ones they are a danger hazard trust believe

For me it simply boils down to quick lights are quick and easy, and nats laste a LOT longer. I have some sinbad quicklights that get light up and red and good to go in like 1 minute, but they are ashed and done in like 10 lol. When smokey void brings over the cocnaras they seem to last like an hour per coal lol.

Love naturals Coco Nara "old style" or even Al Fakher coconut, but i keep quick lights around for emergencies. I had a few bags of natural wood coal and i must say i was not a big fan. The unprocessed wood coals are very nonuniform so you have to break some of the larger peaces down to a workable size and you also get a percent that is too small to use. The natural wood the has been made into pucks like the quick lights have all take long to start and don't last long, and japanes style you have to cut i find are good but more work. In short if you have time get a coconut coal, and it's good for the environment.

If you're a true beginner QL's are definitely faster and easier. But i guarantee once you try naturals you will regret every time you have to use a QL

QLs can be nice when you forget to start some coals, or don't want to smoke for very long. I keep a few around for those very reasons.

I'm using the quick lites until I have a plug in stove piece to light the natural charcs. I agree that they are best for bringing them places and for beginners, but some veterans of the Hookah will not smoke with them.

Deffinitely naturals if you want a more smooth enjoyable smoke. They last longer than instant lights and coco nara coals are virtually odorless and tasteless. Only downside is the time it takes for the naturals to light up. But overall a much better smoke

Well thats all some good advice.
Since i smoke at Home and i'm very patient i bought the natural coals.

as the only con you guys could mention was the time to get coals started.
So i only have the pro's because i can do other things in that 20 minutes like making myself some food or downloading a movie.

so yea that is what i gotta say
with my next order there wil be some quicklights to compare the taste en figure out myself. !

Thanx forum !

Quickies are a good starter and for travel, but naturals, especially coconaras, are AWESOME.

I would start with the quick lights as a beginner because of how simple they are. They're fast, portable, and burn hot.

Natural ones, of course, work better though. I wouldn't really invest in them before you're a little experienced though because not only do you need to buy a burner, but you kinda have to know how to make a good set up. Quick lights will burn as hot as they need to where as you kinda have to make a decision on natural ones to know if they're hot enough before you take them off the burner.

The natural ones are also healthier, hotter, and last longer.
