i would say to you my friend, all the brands vary on flavours, example:

Afzal Bombay Paan masala great smoke good clouds nice buzz
Afzal Blueberry horrible taste!

it comes down to what you like and what you want from your smoke! if you like a particular flavour like grape try a few different brand as you may prefer one to the other.

hope this makes sense??

- price.
- clouds.

- buzz effect

- With Nammor tobacco u mean Romman tobacco?

And Nakhla can give quite a big buzz.. it depends on if u some nakhla often or not. And I don't agree Nakhla giving 'small' clouds, rather normal.

Nak is .5% unwashed tobacco...it should have a buzz, big clouds if packed right and huge taste if packed right as well...any other result is from setting it up wrong
starbuzz is soupy tobacco loaded with glycerin so of course the clouds are huge, with the exception of a couple flavors it pretty much tastes bad and has no buzz at all, its over the most over priced stuff you have listed here
AF is mostly bad, but there are a few good flavors its also really low in buzz and tends to have pretty good clouds....the mint flavor is pretty damn good
hookahfreak is not worth discussing as i wont smoke it
nammor is a hose....i think you mean Romman, this is similar stuff to starbuzz except its also .5% so it might give you a little buzz, its also drenched in glycerin

the best tobacco you have listed here is nakhla

although almost every brand has its good flavors, you just need to figure out which flavors those are
truly....you need to start experimenting with different flavors in different brands and develop your tastes
i started off smoking starbuzz and then learned better

There is an extensive shisha review section , I would recommmend taking advantage of that as it will answer all your questions in greater depth.

Price varies from vendor to vendor.. use a trusted vendor and it will be worth every penny from the customer service you receive to the quickness of shipping and available tracking numbers...

brands do have many of the same flavours.. but they do not all taste the same.. every brand uses their own recipe to make their flavours.. which is why some taste better then others..

usually clouds are about the same for every brand, but you will find the juicier the shisha, the more clouds you will get.. this has to do with the amount of glycerin that is added to the shisha.

buzz.. if you want buzz.. nakhla is known for producing a good buzz.. otherwise:
herbal shisha = no buzz
washed tobacco = little buzz
unwashed tobacco = big buzz

hope that helps a bit..

I have never stuck to one brand. when i started smoking it was my sis-in-law who introduced me to Pharoes blueberry, and i really liked it. got a pipe, ordered some, what we thought was tobacco, ended up being tea shisha. Flavor was good, but we wanted a buzz so i looked around. found Laylalina blueberry. not bad buy very wet. then we found HH blueberry. Very good stuff. now that we moved we cant find bluberry so we just kept trying different 50g boxs of AF that are around us, and now we smoke AF Watermelon. (At least untill i get my first sample box fromSahara Smoke, hopefullly by sat or monday, YAY!)

Point is, try it if the flavor sounds good. I noticed blueberry was mostly the same with the 3 brands i tried, but other properties where different like cut, wettness (giggity), and strenghth of flavor. I knew i had a good shisha when my sis-in-law was smoking outside, i open my tub of HH Blueberry and she can smell it as she is comeing in from a cig, before i even packed the bowl.

Oh, and stay away from AF Two Apple, unless you like a really strong Anise flavor that kicks you all the way down and up.

ya, try what you can get your hands on, even how you set your hookah up is gonna effect flavor/smoke/length of session so just experiment, or watch reviews.

laylalina does suck, it does in a pinch if thats all you have, but it is way to wet, so it burns really easy.

Don't we have a review section explicitly for this purpose?

OK. so this thread is good in theory but is a bit interesting when read lol. Heres how it breaks down how the OP ws intending(I think :/)

Each brand has a reputation based on the majority of their flavors(eg. cut, smoke, taste)

-Nakhla: Big Clouds, Big Flavor, Traditional style shisha, Dry, Medium Cut, Big Buzz, Most Flavors are "Herby"(meaning close to the spice of the flavor vs the candy version)
-AF: Always Red, Medium to Big Clouds, good flavor, wet, fine cut, very little buzz.
-Starbuzz: Big Clouds, Sweet Candy flavors Medium Cut, Wet, Very small buzz
-Fantasia: Big Clouds, Good flavor, Many Flavors based off of alcoholic beverages, Very wet, super fine cut, medium buzz, also note that the use a small bit of alcohol in their flavors, which burns off and is irrelevant although i know some people will not smoke it because of religious reasons.
-Fumari: Big Clouds, Big Flavor, Thick/Dense Smoke, Very Fine cut, small buzz
-romman: Big Clouds, OK Flavor, More Candyish versions od flavors than spice. medium buzz

I have not had HH, HF, Layalina, and a few others enough to make a general consensus but feel free to add or edit.

On a side note, I wish one of these was in a sticky lol. Kinda giving a GENERAL(being the key word) summary of each brand(cut/buzz/smoke). Keep in mind the word GENERAL. some of the companies flavors will not fit the summary, for better or worse, so go out and try them. for example I love nakhla. best shisha out there in my opinion. I will smoke anything nakhla and tell someone trying to convice me something is better to get the hell out To the point: Nakhla mint is quite possibly one of their worst flavors and ill smoke AF mint till i cant smoke anymore lol. just an example. so take general generally pls.

To the OP, ive seen some of your posts around a bit and some of your questions are pretty basic use the search and you can save yourself a bunch of time. If you can find it and think its a quick yes or no question, feel free to pm me im always happy to help a brotha out lol

Sorry for the long post.

Cheers

Actually this is a good thread I need a bit of advice tbh.

I started smoking something like close to what 8 years ago, I originally started with Nak DA or Mint but then quickly switched over to AF simply because of AF Mint which is by far the best flavour I've ever tried.

Problem I have now is that I'm tired of paying over the odds for Al Fakher, are there any viable alternatives ?
