Default Washing a non-washable hose?

Hey there HP Community, I have 2 of these Mod hoses

And im pretty sure they are non-washable, but i have been washing them after every use anyway, just running some water down the hose and blowing it out both ends, would this damage the hose in the long run? is it worth investing in a washable hose?

Thanks HP

it will eventually rust out and ruin the inside of the hose. definitely invest in a nammor hose. its washable and the pull will be a million times easier than with that hookah

I would.

Some people on the forums will run extremely hot water through them and when done, swing them around for a good amount til they are completely convinced all the water's out. Then of course hang them. But then again why risk it? $15-20 fix. :P

first make sure it is a washable hose. run a magnet over the hose. if it sticks then it is a nonwashable hose. then get a nammor or something. If it doesn't stick then you have yourself a washable hose. then wash it like you discribed or follow how to vids.

Yes doing that will absolutely harm them. You need to stop washing them asap. Buy a washable hose with your next online order, you will not regret it. A nonwashable hose is nice if you plan on smoking only one flavor out of it because it will start to hold the flavor and become more enjoyable as time goes on.

hahaha. Just because you own a shishavac does not mean that it will defy all odds and not rust. This overpriced machine doesn't solve every hookah problem known to man. I'm just curious, how exactly do you think that this "wonderful" product will prevent rust? A shishavac is like $250 that not many of us have for out hobby, a washable hose is under $30 after tax and shipping.

washable hose > shishavac
