Default Makeshift Hookah Tray?

My new KM arrived yesterday (as pictured below), however they shipped it without a tray
Im really eager to smoke it and i was wondering if anyone had any ideas for a makeshift tray i could use in the meantime? Anything that can hold the coals and stops ash spilling on the floor will do for me

I am always poor as hell, and I do everything i need like that with the foil. I even make a wind cover every now and then using aluminium foil. cheap, easy, and you can keep it around or throw it out when your done.

I used to use a paper bowl with a wet paper towel inside of it to catch the ashes and keep the bowl from burning. You can't rest your coals on it, but I've never done that anyway. I use a wire kitchen sink drainer inside of a coffee cup to hold my coals.

This seems like a pretty terrible idea to be honest. If the coals had any weight to them there would be a risk of the foil buckling, sending ash and hot coals onto the floor, hose or people.
