Yeah I agree. They don't even seem to make the hookah smoke good at all. I wish there was another alternative for smoking instead of using coals. By doing so, it would cut off a lot of hazardous stuff that we are smoking.

if you got a magnifieing aimed right at the foil that might work. you'd need the perfect conditions though(sun wise) and find a way to rotate it so the foil does burn...

One) the purpose of hookah smoking is that you ARE stationary and are forced to sit down and relax.

Two) if it works, it might be good - but price restrictions and use restrictions make it as much of a pain as a normal rig.

Three) how can smoking something like this be safe to drive? you're paying more attention to the device than the road - please inform me when your out there driving, I'll stay home.

It looks cool and with no coals, maybe a little safer. But until I see it operating and someone successfully smoke from it, I'd be skeptical.

They look like the same people who make the electric shisha heater : http://www.electricshisha.com.tw/

I wrote about this electric shisha thing a while ago and contacted the company. The company had no more info then what you can find on the site. Although they claim it to be in use in the Middle East they never provided me with the names of any distributor or retailer that bought any. They also have no means to sell them in the US and can't provide any sources at all for reviews. I wonder if it actually is available for sale and if they have actually sold any. I suppose it could function like they claim but i'd need some proof first.

Driving and smoking is extremely dangerous and stupid. Don't do it as i'd rather not risk having anyone here turn up splattered for no good reason.
