Al-Fakher, from root: Fa-Kha-Ra, if you take its measure, it will translate into: proud, vainglorious, boastful, outstanding, excellent, first rate, perfect, splendid, superb, glorious, magnificent, sumptuous, de luxe; luxurious, splendidly appointed.

That has nothing to do with wise, why, you ask? because the root for that would most likely be Fa-Ka-Ra making it Al-Fakir. I do believe the mispronunciation lead to the mistranslation of the word. I know on my package it is spelled: الفاخر not الفاكر.

The other stuff is right, even the starbuzz one lol.

The manager of a shisha shop in the West Village I go to occasionally told me that Zaghloul translates into some Egyptian story about a rich woman who is forced to live with a poor woman. The whole thing was definitely lost in the translation for me. Can anyone illuminate?

See I always thought they used the last names of the families that grew or processed the tobacco. 'Al' I always thought was the son of mother Fakher...but this clears it up thanks!
