been hearing some good things and bad things about these coals (but I have never tried them personally so I can't really say anything)

But, I have tried SB's coals...they are purty good and I wouldn't be surprised if they were better than AF's

AF coals are natural lemon wood coals. I haven't tried them myself, but natural lump coals can't be that bad. I like Exotica's, unless something comes along that is head and shoulders above them, I'll continue to use them.

I've tried some lemon wood coals before but didn't like them very much ... If you are looking for a good natural, I like the Al Hambra made by Red Kastle, I did a review of them here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WFzaAW0DjcY

I would still give the AF Coals a try, so if anybody has some and can spare sending me a few, I would appreciate it also I would definitely like to try the Nakhla coals that DMC talks about!

I use AF coals all the time and love 'em! they are a lemonwood coal, and like all natural coals, some pieces burn diferently than others. But all in all, they're fine.
