Default Pic of my recent Shisha purchase

Al Fakher shisha has been extremely scarce in my country for the last few months so my shisha options have been somewhat limited so I was quite excited when my local hookah guy finally received his Al Fakher stock.

I've read that some forum members have been having bad AF experiences because of possible bad batches. All of these 50g packs have been manufactured between Feb and March this year and I can honestly say that all of the packs I've tried so far have been good.

OOOooooOOO I LOVE AF grape, Strawberry and Cherry because they just taste so damn good, I wanna try vinalla though. Don't try mint on it's own because IMO I think it just sucks, try it with something like ummmm chocolate. BTW how much did this all cost you

Lol I love those lil warning labels :P Its Like "geez thanks for reminding me"

Is that on the actual packaging or did the seller slap them on themselves? lol

Yeah look, I was really looking forward to trying out the mint but IMO it leaves much to be desired. It's not that it tastes bad or isn't flavourful but it's just a bit overpowering. About halfway into my session it became a little too minty and "cool" and it was so hectic I couldn't even take decent hits because it was just way to strong. I also think it will be a great mixer so once I've tried a few combinations I'll post some reviews.

I was also waiting for Vanilla in anticipation but after my first session with it yesterday evening I haven't been able to completely make up my mind about it. It wasn't as good as I expected but I think it's partly my fault because I think I may have overpacked which ruined the experience.

As soon as I smoke it again I'll post a review in the review section.

Unfortunately the price of AF has gone up a little (well in my country anyway) so it cost me around R260 (which is around $34) for 650g of shisha.

Thats the actual packaging. Our country has strict legislation when it comes to the sale of tobacco products because as you can see, everything has to have a damn health warning slapped all over it. What you might notice is that some of the packs don't have it so I suspect the local hookah guy gets his stock from various sources.

Mint on its own is definitely one of my favorites! You have to manage the heat just right, so you don't put toooo much heat and burn the tobacco.

Could be. I'll keep experimenting and see how it goes. I haven't given up on the Mint just yet.

I have only smoked Strawberry of the flavors you bought there. AF is great though. I hope all your packs are good.
