Default AF grape

Well I got my tub of af grape at least a week ago, and I heard that there were chances that it could be a bad batch so first things first I smelt it and oh my gah my nostrels took a blow and were down for the count. It smelt like ketchup. I called the place were I got it from and asked if it was bad and they said it was impossible because they removed the bad batches from their inventory months ago. So my question to you my friends is what did the old AF Grape smell like and also what do you guys think of the the new smell and smoke compared to the old AF Grape?

Idk I think AF changed around their recipe. After letting my tub air out cuz its smelled weird...It smelled normal. But when I smoke AF Grape, it just tasted weird...Like something was missing. The grape tasted all old and stale and obviously it couldn't have been since the prod. was nov 2007.

Eh looks like I'm gonna have to steer clear of AF Grape for a very very long time. Sux cuz it used to be my fav flav

We have it as produced Jan08 in the store. I wish I could review. i am not a big fan of Grape flavor by any producer. I just called my contacts at Af and they said that they have heard of this complaint. They don't have any more product produced in 07. I suppose you should just check the date when Buying.

Swarm to Al Amir White Grape. I am not a fan of thier Pomegranate or caramel Apple as they are flavorless, but their White Grape is great!

It should smell good, you should open it up and want to eat it!

It bothers me that I stand behind this flavor and some people are getting bad ones!? I would send it back!! I have an unopened on here, and if it is bad you can bet I will be sending it back!

Well all the AF shisha I purchased a few days ago was manufactured in Feb and March of this year and I can say with confidence that all the packs including the Grape have been really good.

For some reason it seems as if most of the bad batches were manufactured late last year so it might be wise to try and avoid those if possible.

The 50g sample of AF Grape I had was awesome, maybe a little strong in flavor after a while but definately wasn't bad by any means and definately didn't smell like ketchup, in fact if I didn't know better I would have started eating it it smelt that good .

I think I'm going to steer clear of ALL the AF grapes that were made in 2007.

Lol I love this flav too much to actually give up on it. Hopefully, I can find a grape that was made this year locally

My order just arrived. When i opened the box and took the af grape 250g tub it smelled like if I had opened some olives, very strong. Then I removed the package box and the smell increased, then removed the tub top and with some air flowing I started to percieve a very strong grape flavor. Havent smoked it yet. but its definetely grape smell... I dont know its weird

Ok...so I got my AF Grape and it smelled like ketchup to me. But my girlfriend walked past, and she says "Good god that smells absolutely delicious! It's like Welch's, can we please smoke it?" So I pack it and its AMAZING. Maybe because you guys say it smells like ketchup so much I got brainwashed. Anyway, I really like it.

If you are getting tired of bad batches, try al ajamy grapes. I just went through 500g tub of its and i think it might be even better than AF white grape. It has the same tastes plus a bit of the sourness of real white grapes.

Yes, there may have been some bad batches ... but overall, AF Grape is REALLY good, luckily I haven't experienced any of the bad batches
