Default coals help!

i was thinking you could use bbq coals cuz the carbon monoxide gets filtered in the water in the glass base .

what do you all think?

Dude you will die. Water dosnt really filter it. It basically cools the smoke.

Yeah don't believe that myth that the water supposidly "gets rid of ALL the bad things in the smoke" when it doesn't at all. All it does is cool the smoke.

ONLY use coal make for HOOKAH!

You will get very sick if you use BBQ coals, not only that, you could die lol

Please tell me your chemistry teacher was an idiot.
CO, or carbon monoxide is a gas, and last time i checked water was denser than all gases.
Kingsford Charcoal was easily kill you because it not only gives off CO, it also gives off CH4, methane in easier words. All natural mesquite, on the other hand, is 50 50. I've tried some good 100% natural mesquite, and some bad 100% natural mesquite

not the end! it depends what kind of bbq coals you are using. there are high end lemonwood bbq coals that are no different than the lemonwood coals we all have used and continue to use.If your using chemically treated ql bbq coals, than yes, your in trouble. but many bbq coals availiable to the average "patio daddy'o" are basicly the same as the lemonwood coals that are sold as hookah coals.

Natural lump coal i seven better than coal made for use with narguileh. Thats what people from the middle east used and are still using. 100% natural hardwood lump coal. Most of the natural coal is made for BBQ and thats all i use. Lump hardwood coal.

i used bbq coal for 2 years (i know...im dead).

now a days i wont ever consider using it. we let it start all the way till they were ashed over before using them...

still a bad idea. id get headaches and we'd always smell like bbq charcoal.

I find that 100% natural hardwood works best or at least better than anything i tried. Its flavourless, odorless, doesnt give any buzz ro headaches but it ashes a lot.

We are probably not talking about the same type of BBQ coal. There 's a nice linkt o differencieate the two : http://www.primogrill.com/charcoal.html
Natural lump charcoal is the most natural you can get.
