i live with my parents and was smoking in my kitchen over the weekend.
AF grape. great flavor, smoked about 10 bowls

but anyways

i dropped numerous coals on my hardwood floor and now there are burn marks in the wood.

could i get these out
thet are conveniently placed under the persian rug, but since the rug is awkwardly placed to cover the marks i need to get rid of em

persian pimp, good quick thinking using those persian rugs. there are numerous persian woodspecialists out there who could possibly fix your hardwood persian floor but that would cost you.

Normally I wouldn't offer advice when someone did wrong and are attempting to hide it, but I'll make an exception. Go to a hardware store and get some fine grit sandpaper and Minwax varnish (not sure the name but varnish makes it shiny). Rub the burns with sandpaper until they are the same color as the surrounding wood. Wipe all the dust away and brush some varnish on the spots you sanded.

for starters get some new F-ing tongs. and how do you drop so many coals in one session?

i would just go to a local floor specialest and ask them how to fix it.

and now i guess you will never smoke in the house again.

yeah i cut the hole out with a razor blade.
put stain/polyerathane on it.
waited for it to dry. filled it with wood putty waited for it to dry.
sanded it and put more stain and polythane and it looks good now.
i removed the carpet to see if my parents would notice. and nope =]
