Default cleaning brush for a pumpkin?

When I ordered my 2 hookahs, the company I dealt with gave
me a free pumpkin hookah for spending my dough with them.
So I gave it to one of my friends who was at my first session.
I hooked him up with some foils, QL's & shisha.
However I didn't know what to do for a brush. The company I
dealt with didn't have any that small, should he just get a large
stem brush anyway? And what about the base, that would take
some kind of little brush... right?
I wish I could have given him some equipment to clean his hookah,
after I stressed to him how important it would be to keep it clean.

Anyone have any ideas, either purchase or homemade?

I don't know about all the vendors here but I do remember seeing a cleaning kit in a local store from Social Smoke for smaller hookas. I would imagine something like that would do just fine. I haven't looked to see if they offer that kit on the SS website.

pumpkins are small buddies... a good idea is go get a baby bottle brush or some sort of bottle brush at say wal mart. Since the stem is small it will work with that and the base should be fine like that too...

If not dont worry about the brush, just put some lemon juice and baking soda in and plug both ends and give it a good shaking, it can take care of cleaning too

Take an old shirt.
Tear it.
Wrap it around an unbent coat hanger. Or the straight part of a plastic one.
Clean the hookah.

End.

An old toothbrush should be fine for gently scrubbing the interior of the water flask. There are a number of good quality narrow-diameter brushes for sale on the 'net, that will do fine for cleaning the interior of the stem.
