what kind of music do you people like to listen to while smoking hookah, personally i like some slow smokin music

sphongle, astrix, royksopp, claude vonstroke, trentmoeller...basically psytrance or down tempo trance for me

I usually find myself listening to jazz or classical, or some cross-over between the two.
Depends on the mood though, I'll find myself listening to just about anything, as long as it's relaxing in some form.

I like to listen to some nice heady dub reggae( see kingtubby, lee perry) or some mellow trip-hop like massive attack, land of the loops or portishead.

you are correct. it's come up 2 or 3 times in the last 3 months... i'd recommend searching before posting a new thread.

but i enjoy listening to some 311, sublime, bob marley, anything slow and chill like that

Check out Rebirth or Soul Rebel outta new orleans. Both are great brass/jazz bands. Perfect for hookah smokin.

my friend and I are the ONLY people probably in my County who have even heard of them. That's just insane.

Their music has been a large factor of so many fantastic sessions....

Antoine Dufour or Andy Mckee, some nice folk guitar, really gets a hookah session started for me.

I listen to Buddah bar lounge techno or some chill techno. Sometimes I listen to mellow Jazz rap. Pink floyd or Bela Fleck and the Flecktones is always good too!

The Doors is great stuff to listen to when you're smoking. As is Pink Floyd, Bob Marley, etc.

Lol I listen to Sphongle as well. I will listen to anything though while I'm smoking, It doesn't matter to me, as long as its not country!

for smoking hookah i prefer grunge like nirvana, but i also listen to punk and sth like this while smoking

Alot of the newer Clutch albums are great to listen to, kinda mixture of blues and rock
Shpongle is great as well
Sublime is a must
