It will smoke like any other Mya; Very well, but not as well as an Egyptian Hookah. The Common Chamber makes it impossible to hit as well as an Egyptian.

It doesnt affect how it hits. It is, tho, IMPOSSIBLE to purge. Also the upper part of MYA stems is narrower than 28+" egyptians so a bit better draw there. no noticable effect on size of clouds.
A PRO of mya is that i've never heard a Mya stem rust. A con of that hookah is that its a screw-on which are known to have some problems. Mya's do smoke as well as Egyptians but have a few PROs and a few CONS compared to Traditionals. Basically Mya PROS: good multi-hosers, never rust, perfect seal CONS: Problems with threaded parts, narrower stems, BAD purge cz of common chamber. Traditionals PROS : wide stem, perfect purge, no threaded parts. CONS: Unacceptable as multihosers, will rust eventually, Am not going to discuss style and and portabilty becuase these depend on model and personal preferences but that basically it. I own both and i know they are for 2 different kinds of people. Cheers |

Just get what you want. If it is a MYA it will be fine. If you prefer the looks of a chinese made MYA over a traditional egyptian its all good, just get the mya. I myself prefer syrians. You might want to search around for one those. They are swell. You can get one from hookah-shisha.com

oh snaps lol. i used to have that (and i bought it from them). that was the first hookah i bought. had it for 3 years till the common chamber got too dirty and you cant get to it from the bottom. everything began to taste the same =/
it was cool, however I went through 3 acrylic vases due to cracks and breaks. |

"stainless steel"
their word versus mine. I should have taken pictures. I ended up giving it away but the stems started peeling after 3 years. probably galvanized steel. |

Oh NOZ....
Not "Stainless Steel" again. "Shiny" does not equal stainless steel. Chrome plated brass does not equal stainless steel. Highly polished steel does not equal stainless steel. Stainless Steel equals http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stainless_steel OK.... now to put in My .02 cents on the hookah asked about... I have that stem.... but not that acrylic base. The only problem I have with it is that the core of the stem is made of cheap aluminum.... and the threaded area on both ends have crumbled from exposure to shisha juice. Seriously. Crumbled...Deteriorated.... Non-Existent. Heres a pic. ![]() its gotten much worse since. Mya needs to make this a brass part instead. |

Mya's have great stems, I'd recomend them, however I wouldn't trust those acrylic bases. They crack unnoticably and then leak water slowly. plus they fade and look kind of cheap after lttle time. for a mya get one with a glass base.

Yeah, that happened to my Mya as well, I just went up to the local Home Depot and got a brass tube and threaded it. Didn't cost much and was an easy fix for an amazing hookah IMO. Yeah don't get acrylic... go glass or be fancy and get the crystal. Other than that minor problem with the aluminum corroding like that my Mya has been great to me. BTW that stem that goes bad is the one in the center, not the one on the bottom that enters the vase.

My Mya stem is all brass on the inside. The problem is exactly what Scoop said, cleaning it. The Inside is very rough, impossible to fully clean without a high-powered liquid sprayer
. My downstem is fine thus far, and it sits in my garage uncleaned for weeks at a time. It's a godamn beast.
