Default hookah trouble shooting

does any one know a different way to separate the vase bottle from the stem base, where the release valve is located. The problem is that it is too tight. I have tried many different ways, like hot water to expand the materials.

not sure what you mean. The stem should pull right off the vase. They are held together with a rubber grommet.Unless it's a screw off.

you need muscles my friend. actually try this, bend the stem in one direction while holding the base, then rotate and repeat all the way around, this can take time. hopefully it will work.
btw, how long ago did you attach the 2, i am wondering why it happened, but i've had it happen b4 where it is really hard to take off

yeah, sometimes the seal of the stem and base is really tight! John offers up some good advise, you can wiggle back and forth and pull on the stem to try to get it apart. When you do get it out ... try putting some olive oil on the grommet next time, it will make things easier when you take it apart to clean after smoking, in the future.

Cheers!

you can try using some oil, but make sure to wipe it all off before you stick it back in

Hold the vase tight in one hand keep it one place then grab the middle part of the stem with your other hand, then with a anti clock wise rotation pull and rotate. ( For example: let pretend that from the elbow to the tips on your fingers is the stem, sit your elbow on a table with your hand pointing straight up to the roof then rotate the top part in a clock wise position, as you can see the top area has more movement then the bottom which acts as a leaver an give the bottom a weak spot, making it easier to pull out.

Then when placing it back in do the SFT (Spit Finger then Wipe) around the rubber then twist it in.

lol @ Scoop .... I do that too Shhhhhhh keep it on the down low.

I found a bit of olive oil smeared around the gasket works best myself.
