I tried several flavors of Soex and they all sucked, except for choco mint. It was smokable but just barely.

I have yet to try the black label but soex is just terrible. The mintos flavor was ok, huge clouds, but the flavor died in like 20 minutes.

A lot of the Elite Members got a sample of some Black Label Hookah Hookah, and SHOULD be posting some reviews of this product soon!? I hope!?

I have some as well, and will be doing some video reviews on it as soon as I get the chance .. I have been reviewing a bunch of stuff, just haven't released the videos yet.

First you should know that both black lablel and soex are made from used sugar cane and are in no way herbal.

I've tired several Soex products and I hated them all. I've only had a couple of Black Label flavours and they were simply horrid.

In terms of other non-tobacco shisha I know of High Life which I've never tried and an Egyptian product called Salaam which sounds interesting but I can't seem to find anyone that has it for sale.

I guess I'll bite the bullet and be the first of the Elite Members to try the Black label and review it.

The selling point for all herbal shishas is that they are going to be the smoke of choice in lounges hit by tobacco bans. Which would translate to a lot of closures since the majority dislike herbals. I have tried both Soex and HH Black and the biggest drawback was the strange aftertaste on each draw.

Be the first to find out! Don't make DMC do all the experiments. LOL

BTW Black Label Butterscotch wasn't worth smoking. I reviewed it. Better than Soex, but that's not saying much.

I've yet to see herbal shisha done right, but I think there is potential for something good, especially for those who smoke for buzz among other things. Herbs like Blue Lotus and Yerba Lena Yesca give a really nice buzz, much different and less deadening than nicotine can be.

I once tried making shisha with damiana, but it just had way too much herbal flavor. Tasted like a gerbils cage after about 10 minutes. I didn't really continue messing with it, but I think the plant needs to be treated somehow to remove this flavor.

Soex is worse than smoking nothing, don't even bother.

However, the BL isn't -too- bad. I tried the black label Blackberry today, and it was alright for about 20 minutes, decent clouds, but not much taste.

I would suggest trying to convince her to try Starbuzz, Lucid, or some other washed brand, mentioning that smoking sugarcane really can't be any healthier than smoking tobacco washed of all the nicotine. But if she's absolutely set on no tobacco, Black Label would be the choice.

Actually Black label is herbal, it is not made from sugar cane.
black label has went through its growing pains like most brands in the beginning, it has vastly been improved since its introduction to the market.
there a still a couple flavors that are being tweaked but there are some really good ones I enjoy.

Well I haven't had Black Label in a few months so perhaps it changed or maybe I never got a good flavour. When I last had Black Label it appeared and felt exactly the same as Soex so I presumed that it was made of the same sort of stuff. I am curious about what exactly it's made out of if not spent sugar cane and what exactly makes it herbal so I await your response with interest.

Hajo, I remember asking them what was in it before and they wouldn't reveal it. Top secret, apparently. If I can't know what it is, I'll assume there's nothing in it I want to be smoking.
