My nephew threw my Nakhla down the toilet!

So im being a good aunty and having my 5 year old nephew over for the night. Start out having a great time playing halo, then i go to answer the phone. When i get back the cuboard to my stash is open and the monster child has a worried look on his face. After investigating i find an unopened 250g of caramel has been flushed down the toilet.

I didn't even get chance to smell it!

Anyone else ever had anything similar happen?

Damn man! That really sucks, but it's kids, when I had to baby-sit my cousin for a week (My uncle came over from the US and wanted to focus on buying crap and stuff, and he paid me really well so meh). I put EVERYTHING that could hurt me if lost or more importantly, hurt him by accident way beyond his reach.

Be glad he flushed it and that he didn't smell it and eat it, THAT could really go freaking wrong. And you know, when having kids over you (sadly) accomodate them as well as possible, you do have to set boundaries and make him understand that what he did was wrong, but take it easy.

I have child locks on all the kitchen cuboards, as i have all 7 neices and nephews over on rotation. The kid is smart. He knew what it was, as he asks about my pipes all the time and i explain. He's a very curious George (which is actually his name)

After it all though we just snuggled back up on the sofa and carried on playing Halo

Oh Didn't mention im actually a childrens nurse.

Wow, that is horrible. If that was one of my nephews, I would take away the iPads I bought them. Luckily, both my nephews are good kids, though they may be sly and have a witty tongue. When doing hookah one day at my parents house, my oldest sister was over and I asked if she wanted to try it. She also allowed her son to take one puff, but since someone else was poorly heat managing it, the smoke was harsh, so hopefully he won't be smoking hookah or anything for that matter for a loooong time.

In that regard, I hope you keep your stash in a higher and more unseen place so that little rugrat won't get it to.

My nephew (Georgie) is the youngest, hes not a bad kid. We all do stuff like this when were kids. I threw my dads gold rings down the toilet when i was 4. He wasnt impressed

Time to rearrange the cupboards and invest in better child locks but i doubt he will go near them again.

Man I'm glad I put all of my tobacco out of my daughter's reach. Watching them grow up shows how smart these kids are getting lol.

Ehh I've had something sorta similar.. well not really just a disaster. But what happened was I had a couple friends over the night before I had to babysit and we were all smoking alot of hookah. We went through like 3 bowls which means 9 nats. I never disposed of the used shisha or ash I just put it on the tray and then the next day I was babysitting my niece and nephew while my sister was at work.. They have a LOT of toys and the living room gets pretty messy so I was in the living room cleaning up after them and they were just walking around. I didn't notice that they left the room so I went to go find them and when I found them they were in my room and all I see was my hookah still standing straight up but the tray was knocked off and all the burnt/used shisha was mashed into my carpet and all the ash was poured everywhere and then you see my vortex just sitting ontop of the stem sideways because my niece couldn't push it all the way on. I mean like if you think about it it's not THAT bad all I had to do was pick up the shisha and then steam clean it but still it was a big inconvenience

ugh, Kids are worse then pets! atleast you can ship yours back the parents before they see if a stem can fit in the garbage disposal O_O
