Question Questions about Syrians

In searching for a hookah to take on extended motorcycle trips, (I considered the Leila, but it just doesn't... well, look like a hookah), I ran across a few posts and some excellent pictures of Syrian Hookahs whose stems break down into multiple pieces. This is perfect for tucking those smaller pieces into various corners of the saddlebags and trunks.

My first try was John at ******* Hookah, unfortunately his models do not break down.

Which models are available that feature multiple piece stems, and what are the piece sizes?

Is there a standard thread size for Syrian stem pieces? Can different brands be mixed?

Is there a source for just the stem pieces?

What is the difference in the different "hearts"? 2 hole, 4 hole, etc..

Sorry KM, the dark side is calling

Only ones that break down are the ones from a banned vendor. That's it in the USA. They all have 4 hole common chambers. I'm selling a 3 hose one for a discount that has only been used 5 times, if you are interested!

Ohh and may i say that the Vases are HUGE and will not fit in any small places.

I'm not sure if the threading is universal. I would think it would depend on the manufacturer. Here is a link to a Co. that sells segmented syrians.http://www.magichookahs.com/ Thier is another vendor who sells arguably the best segmented syrians you can get.He is banned from the forum, so I'm not gonna mention his name but check the review section for the "black magic" syrians. You'll find his name there.good luck, and welcome to TEAM SYRIAN!!

I want a Nour really bad, so I'm gonna have to say Nour.
don't know why there are so many holes in the heart when most of them have two holes, one for hose, one for purge. I think the nour have a traditional chamber too.

One HUGE piece I can deal with, the vase can be filled with miscellaneous stuff packed into ziplock bags and placed in the tailbag. Its that 2+ foot section of metal that causes the packing problems

Very true man! Those things are great hookahs, very reliable, super durable, and very very good looking. The only thing is i never have time to use it unfortunately and it needs a good home.

Situations like this is when I would say get a Mya. Look at the Mya gyro maybe, it breaks down for the most part and myas come with a case.

Suggesting that someone buy a mya over a syrian is a punishable offense 'round these parts young man! I'll be alerting the "mod"squad and they will deal w/you as they see fit!

I'm thinking it has to be a Syrian. I have heard good things about Mya, but they are not Syrian and I would guess that the case isn't Syrian either.
Did I mention I was looking for a Syrian?

Hey whats up I am the owner of Magic Hookahs, for what it is worth I am reputable, just new to the biz. The Syrians are extremely nice and break down really well, I actually just received an order from one of the member of this forum (I wont mention their name, but I will encourage them to tell you guys what they think once delivered). Hope this helps and happy hookahing.
