I would try them out, but I don't have the tools to do such wild things.

Juno and Jilly, split one!
Hopefully they're better than AF naturals, those ash too much.

Yeah, I'm willing to spilt it.

If they don't work, then I'll just use them for the next bonfire.

Al Fakher's Natural coals do flake too much. Even my beloved Red Kastle coals.

Ugh I don't even wanna start with SB. I mean it doesn't ash AS much as Exoticas or anything like that, but the ash gets on my nerves! lol

When I ash the Sb coals, the ash a very fine ash and not only that, the ash is so light that it starts to fly across the room, which makes my carpet all nasty and stuff. I know vacuuming will always fix that prob...But I like coals that don't always get the ashes all over the carpet.

Hmmm Now I kinda starting to like them since they give off great heat=more smoke.

Haha! But I didn't say this yesterday when I was blowing on a coal and the thing POPPED....and embers that made it look like a firecrackers popped all over the place and in my friggen face! Lol I was freaked the hell out.

Well anyways...Yeah I wanna buy those coals from H-C the next time I order from them again. But it won't be for a while

Those coals must be the work of the Shaytaan if what you say is true.

I think I'll order the orange coals right now. Do they accept debit?

UPDATE
Ordered them just now.

Will probably get them Thursday.

I feel dirty now.

Completely natural coals that dont ash like that do not exist. If the coal is realy natural it will ash like that. That is how nature made coals to be. If they are altered in any way in order not to ash like that then they are not completely natural. eg. Exotica. They are factory made charcoal but with no chemicals on them.

EDIT: Also, even if you have 2 identical pieces from natural wood coal they might not last the same because of their physical proprties. eg. one tree had more density than the other. so expect these from the naturals
I dont know what you guys call BBQ coals in america but for us those are BBQ coals. In the middle east no one uses briquettes or any other type of coal in our bbq other than 100% natural hardwood coal

I don't know why, but I have no desire to try natural lump coal. Seems the cutting or breaking them to size would be more trouble than they are worth. I know you have to score and break Exoticas, but it takes like a minute. LOL

I just jump on the bag when i get it and i get perfect sized lumps.
Natural lump coal is what every egyptian or Syrian guy i met recommended and i trust them. I can tell that nothing comes close to how tasteless those coals are.

It cost more to ship it then it did to buy it.

I hope these coals have a scent of orange in them.

I'll have to try that one. I sorted the last bag of lemonwood coals I had and more than half of the pieces were huge. I usually tried to break them up after lighting.

I have no clue what they are like. I assume they are like any other bulk natural. Half of it will be useless tiny pieces and the rest you will have to break up.

Lol no joke..In my bag of Sb Coals, there was a LOG! An actual wooden log!

The log coal in the SB Coals was like 8 inches in height and 3 inches in width. I had to get a hammer to break it up into even pieces.

Hah I dont think those orangewood coals will in fact smell like oranges.

The AF coals are very similar lol. some look like twigs, some look like logs, some look like they won't last very long. The consistency of them is pretty bad too, some will last up to 1 hour, while some completely die off at 45 minutes

They should be coming in tomorrow since they're based in San Diego. Actually, I think they're about 40 minutes from me. Should've picked them up myself, ahaha.
