Default The The Tango of Death, Starring Al Fakher Grapes Flavor

I am beginning to suspect that the mass hysteria centered around Al Fakher's Grapes Flavor is a self-fulfilling prophecy.

I say, let it air out if you have a problem with the stench.

Here's what I think. When people think of grape flavored things, they mainly think of a candy like grape, which AF grape is not. So maybe there was a bad month here and there, i've never experienced this. xsmokethisx sent me a 250 of "ketchup" grape and i'll admit it smelled kinda funky. I let it air out for a few hours and my room was smelling like grapes. Now that people are fearing the stench and taste of ketchup flavored shisha, it's implanted in their brains. The mind can play lots of tricks on you if you're not careful. Not every shisha is going to taste exactly how it smells or how you expect it to taste.

It's something with AF! lol
I bought 5 50g's of peach, threw them all into a tupperware container, and took a whiff of it, and it smelled like...medicine. but i let it air out, and it reeked of sweet peaches
same thing with grape, it went from ketchup to smokable.

Never had a problem with my AF either but if I did I would not panic, I would simply air it out like we have talked about before long time ago lol.

there's a lot to be said about airing out hookah tobacco. I usually smoke it straight from the package and reseal it. the thing is everything consumable is affected by air and humididty, it's just not a perfect with tobacco though (not to my knowledge)
wine and cigars are definately like this, and need to be treated accordingly

Yup, that's what I do now with my Af Grape and pretty much with all the AF flavs that I have probs with. Idk why, but AF has been needing to be aired all now.

I had grape recently at work (March 2008) just to try it again.

The smell was there, but it tasted fine.

No throat burning, either.

I acclimate all my tobacco in my closet now, so when i walk in, i get a big whiff of flavor aroma. Also, it makes most of my shisha less harsh

Darned if I did not buy a large ammount of al-fakher from "somewhere in the Middle-East" snet to america, and resent to me in the ?Middle East since we Fallakhin do not rate AF locally.with genuine hologram to prove. Before this forum even started. It was ketchup all over, smelled like ketchup and tasted no better. The white grape was terrific though. The discussion has gone down on 2 other forums for years. Its a fact of life, but IF you like it, what's the problem? That's what personnal taste is all about and there is no arguing personnal taste.
