Default gar, first coal spill with the new rig

so ya, just went to sit back down and i look over and see my hookah where its not supposed to be and at a not so nice angle, caught it but of course all the coals fell off. but luckly i just had some small remnants of exoticas that hit the area rug so barely got any burns, mostly just coal crap and the big one fell on the concrete floor (the building is an old ware house that was converted)

+1 for the concrete

still have no idea how it tipped cause its a rotator so its pretty stable, o well, no biggie

back to smoking SB blue mist/AF coconut mix

Two nights ago this happened to me. I leaned over to change the music on my friends computer, and suddenly the hookah flew right at me. Since I was drinking, I didn't even notice until one of the coals burned my leg and the other was lodged in between the couch and my rear. I put it out with my roomate's beer, but there are burns everywhere now (even on me) O.o

i figured out why it happened, the floor is uber uber uber old and has been patched 100s of times (concrete) and i didnt notice where i put the hookah was inbetween a patch so meh, o well, learned to always have it out in front of my not to the side between the chairs, less chance of pulling

been there and done that with 3 freshly lit exoticas that shattered into many peices so i feel your pain. My damage cost like 1800 to fix so be glad it was a rug. it was a sad day and the wife came un-glued and i was in the dog hous for like a month. Now im limited to one room in the house with a bucket of water and hard wood floors.

I've got like 5 or so burn marks in my apartment floor from a friend knocking the hookah over the trying to pick it up then repeatedly dropping it again on the carpet. I have to do some fancy patchwork to fix this when we move out of the apartment. It's the worst feeling when you drop a coal on something you don't own.

Ah the coal spill...I haven't had a "tip over" yet but I have had coal slippage from these freebie tongs I got with my hookah. They are cheap and just no good. They don't have the teeth and the hot coals have slipped out of their grasp onto my hard wood floor in my room once, luckily it didn't burn anything but the ash is a pain to clean up coz when you get a wet paper towel it just spreads LOL. And there was the time when the coal slipped and landed into my right palm, but that's a whole different story

Actually, him buying her something for her forgiveness is a sign of being whipped like cream.

But yeah, the only carpet I've desecrated was Scoop's.

I've got two nasty instant coal burns on my carpet..first time was my fault..I used two pencils to try and get it back on the top. Bad idea.. second time was a buddy of mine forgetting to check the position of the hookah before grabbing the hose..

We've got a huge burn mark in our offwhite carpet because of my boyfriend. We had a really small and cheap hookah with the worst 15" stiff hose ever. He decided to smoke and update his website, so he placed the hookah on top of the tower next to the desk. Not a very smart idea. Next thing he knows... he pulls the hookah, a coal lands on his foot and another on the carpet.
Note: He was the one to finally break this hookah.. however it gave us an excuse to upgrade a tad bit. :-)

I've only had one drop, and it was on tile floor. So, I was in the clear

The only spill I've witnessed was in a hotel room. It was on my friends hookah and it was his fault.

It burned a nasty hole into their NEW carpet. They never said anything or charged him though. He got lucky.

another tiny chunk of exotica decided to go sky diving as i was packing up for the night, little bugger got a nice little divot on the rug we have down. o well, i think its my hookahs way of saying it doesnt like that he doesnt smoke much since it is his carpet (he smoked lightly for about 30 mins then goes and calls this chick for like 3-4 hours leaving me to finnish a small phunnel, im ok with that but ya last night i finished the phunnel then had a small bowl and ya, bad choice, started to get light headed while cleaning up.

Get a large ceramic tile or a few. They really hold the hookah well and keep any coal from burning rugs. If the rug or floor is uneven, you can put heavy duty tin foil underneath and press down. Like water, it will find its own equalized level.

well the floor is really really un even, there are flat spots but right were we smoke its like strips of level. i got a small rug for it and it works well, i had thought abotu the tiles or getting wood or what ever but i figured that may be a little more PITA to move and store compared to a rug that i can roll up
