As Juno said Nakhla DA is what most folks started on. If you don't like buzz you might want to try Al Amir White Grape (get a 250 G tub because 50 G packs are flavorless), Fusion has several nice flavors, Hookah Hookah and Hookah Freak.

It's a pinch more pricey, but I started on and fell in love with Romman. Romman sweet melon always has a special place in my rotation, and Romman Cherry + Cola is to die for!

As with most here, I also had Nakhla double apple as my first. However I am a fan of licorice so I loved it. If you do not like licorice than I would advise don't ruin your first hookah experience with Nakhla double apple. Nakhla sweet melon if your not big on licorice.

Nahkla's Two Apples flavor is superior to any other double apple flavor because you can actually taste the sweet and sour apples, along with a hint of anise, instead of it being all anise.

It wasn't my first, by the way.

you're in the uk...
any quality tobacco like AF, Al Masah or Nakhla you can find there is all the good stuff you can get. If you order online, you could get some quality brands like fusion, starbuzz and tangiers.

Even a hint of any anise will turn off anyone who wretches at the flavor of it.

That's why I suggested sweet melon, seems to be a favorite from them. And agree rose just doesn't sound appealing by itself.

Yeah Nakhla Sweet Melon, Earl Grey, or Two Apples will be great, but be aware of the licorice flavour of Two Apples. Be careful with that stuff though (everyone knows what I'm talking about )...Al Fakher in my opinion has the best flavour, but you can have problems with that, personally I don't but just giving a heads up. Fusion Exotic Pear is amazing, but I cannot stand Hookah Hookah. If you have the cash to shell out, try some Al Fakher Golden Strawberry. It's still my favourite after everything I've tried

Al waha double apple is good and the heat management is super easy, good practice for beginners. Also AF (Al Fakahar) and Hookah Hookah. Happy smoking.

if you dont have a tolerance to nicotine you might wanna start on something like havana, al fakher, or layalina. or fusion or starbuzz if you wanna shell out the extra cash.

otherwise al waha california dream is awesome if its fresh. romman is pretty good for newbs too, its easy to work with and forgiving if you let it get too hot.

LOL Rex, you are gonna have this guy buying Soex and never looking at hookah products again. Al Fakher man, that's where it's at

Also, as thesauce310 said above, get your products from John at *************.com because he is the best

As others said, Nakhla would be a great starter for you! Because tobacco is very expensive there, and Nakhla is reasonably priced. I would recommend the Double Apple (Yes it has anise flavor, but tastes soooo good! It is an acquired taste), Sweet Melon, Earl Grey, Pistachio, Fakhfakhina Mixed Fruit, El Basha Grape .. these are all great Nakhla Flavors!
