mya has several different cloissone hoses, all of which perform well. But because they are leather wrapped, as well as wood and metal tipped, I am inclined to believe that they may not be washable. However, nonwashable hoses can easily be cleaned by allowing them to sit unused for afew days(this allows any resins in the hose to dry ) and then blowing them out with compressed air from a shop hose or the like. I do it at work all the time.

I am thinking that they are not since they appear to be just like the standard Mya hose, only with an ornate grip. Once I need to replace the hose that came with my bambino, I'll pick on of those up next.

They are definitely NOT washable. My friend had them and washed them anyway. They rusted on him quite bad.

I have 2 Cloisonne hoses. they are great, but i prefer the nammor hose.
Officially its washable, but i wont wash it, cuz of the stainless steel spiral in it.

as far as craftsmanship and quality is really nice and looks great. however for functionality it's not as good as a razan or any other "wide diamter" hose.

It is a very beautiful hose. But the draw is really tight. I am not a fan of it for that reason ..

I have bought a wide diameter hose some month ago, and once - i don't really know why - i wanted to smoke with my older one, which has a narrow diameter. When i was using that one, there was no problem, but after getting used to my new one it seemed nearly impossible to get a normal, easy draw with it. So wider diameter hoses ftw!

I still plan on getting a Cloisonne for my bambino. The draw may be tighter than a razan, but it looks nice. Besides, I don't think razans where really designed for smaller hookahs anyways...
