Default Chamber, valve, ball bearing????

My wife and I have been smoking around Orlando on 2 hose hookahs. On some pipes we have to put a thumb over one hose in order to not draw air from the other hose. Is there a way to know which hookahs have this option to not draw air from one hose while drawing from the other?? We want to buy one but no one ever tells us this. Are we dealing with a realistic option or will we just get lucky? HELP!

Egyptian multi-hose hookahs usually lack a purge valve. To smoke one properly , one person must plug off the end of their hose while the other smokes.... or you take the other hose out and put in a rubber stopper in the second hose port for single person smoking.

There is a way to make a small device which goes in the second connection that converts it inot a purge valve. It is made of parts found at the hardware store and a BB or an airsoft pellet.

Heres a pic of one I have made in the past.

It is made using a rubber stopper with a hole drilled in it.... The second part is a Hose-barb adapter, you place a BB or airsoft pellet in it... and then the third is a screw on cap for the adapter.... you drill a small hole on the end of it to let the air pass.

You can buy Mya multi-hose hookahs, with an auto-seal function on the hoses that accomplishes what you are needing.

MYAs aren't the only hookahs out there with autoseal. Do some looking on Hookahshisha.com. Their Syrians come with autoseal; they also carry MYA's if you choose to buy one of those.

Many online sells carry Syrians that have autoseal, including me Syrian is the way to go for a better hookah and better smoking experience.
