Default Store near my house

There is a store near my house called Golden Star. It has all sorts of Middle Eastern and some Indian foods and a huge fresh fruit area and some homemade looking dishes from those areas. They have some Hookahs at great prices but I am not sure the brands or make or anything but they don't look to have machinery markings so they seem to be handmade. Small selection and all that but I wanted to ask about the Shisha tobaccos. They have many different Nakhla flavors in two different shaped boxes. Looked to me like they may have 100g boxes but I didn't think Nakhla made those. So I am not sure what I was seeing. You can't really get close to them since they are behind the cash registers and in front of the cash registers are sliding glass freezers with frozen foods in them. So you kind of have to look over everyone and stand in people's way to browse. I want to know what comes in a box that is square on the front and kind of looks like maybe Al Fakher graphics but has no English on it except for the flavor (banana flavor, grape flavor, strawberry flavor, etc). Not sure what brand it is. Also there was one that looked like it may say El or Al Bashawa. Could be wrong about it it was block letters and I was wearing 3 or 4 year old glasses instead of my contacts.

Can anyone tell me anything about the two I saw by description or am I chasing a wild goose?

Yep El Basha that is it. What are the differences between the different Al Nakhla brands. Why is there an El Basha if it is also just Nakhla.

Nakhla boxes come in different shapes... the regular is more on a horzontal plane...and the Mizo line has is "tall" on teh vertical plane in reference to the print.

The Al Fakher stuff sounds like Al Fakher Trading Co. LTD. A knock off but a personal favorite of mine anyway... did it look like this? Some of the tubs had less english..they changed up packaging alot.

They were odd little square boxes that looked about half as deep as the square face is wide, long. There was no english on it at all. The picture looked like Al Fakher pictures but there wasn't that ribbon and the only English was under the picture it said "Banana Flavor" etc.

'washed' means the tobacco leaf has literally been washed I believe. Either way, 'unwashed' shisha has a higher nicotine content. Tangiers for example is unwashed.

Washed tobacco has had some of the nicotene washed from it by immersion into water.

I am a wus in most other smoking experiences. Haven't decided yet. I like Nakhla for the buzz so maybe I am not a Hookah wuss.

They tell me this place I have wanted to check out for the food is more of a middle eastern grocery with a nice deli type thing but they have great prices and a good selection so maybe I won't have to deal with the place that makes it hard to tell what they have and won't talk to you if you don't have money in your hand.

Southeast I believe is the best way to describe it. Murfreesboro Pike between Briley and the Interstate. Though I have recently learned of a better one or at least one with better customer service a ton of Hookahs reasonably priced and a lot of Nakhla and AF stuff with decent prices. It is in that massive shopping center by the new Lowe's on Nolensville Road and Old Hickory. It is called Baraka and it is basically a Middle Eastern Grocery but it has a ton of Hookah stuff.

I got two 50g AF packs for $1.99 the 250g boxes are $8.99 and the Nakhla 250g is $4.99. Nice and you can actually see what they have and browse.

I live in Cookeville, which is like an hour away. But it would not be that bad of a drive in order to satisfy my hookah cravings. lol

Oh yeah dude. Baraka on the corner of Nolensville road and Old Hickory has a ton of Nakhla and Al Fakher tobaccos cheaper than the internet and no shipping. I have heard there are some lounges up by Vanderbilt. I had no idea. I may have to check those out.

Hmm I gotta think there would be something closer to you. I may have to do some checking around Lebanon. Maybe a little too redneck for Hookah stuff but then again they have some weird stuff there. I saw a Biker Sushi bar once so I guess anything is possible.

Thats true! lol. I doubt some would be in Lebanon but I appreciate the help. My friend goes to Vanderbilt and he goes to local hookah lounges. I will ask him where they are at.

why do you make 3 posts in a row within a few secs.. try use the "edit" and write in the same post.. its easier to read this forum that way

So yeah nakhla is unwashed.. theres many different nakhla subbrands or what to call it.. look for urself: http://www.nakhla.com/GroupsData.aspx
if u enjoy the nakhla taste ( I do .. its very storng taste and very good in many ways ) but I dont enjoy buzz so I use the HEBA diffuser and it keeps me alive while smoking nakhla ..

They are usually minutes apart and usually in response to different things. Different subject matter and what not.

The buzz doesn't really bother me. I actually kind of dig it. So far Nakhla is all I have tried and I like it. The place I go though only has the two flavors. Kind of ready to burn through a few different flavors when I get mine. Thanks for posting the Nakhla.com website to check on the different subbrands. Very interesting.
