Default Bla, Problems with Razan Sultan Hose

Well, i've always owned normal Razan washable hoses for the longest time, but I decided to spice it up this go around and try the new Sultan line of hoses.

If your not aware what those are, here is a link;

http://www.nazarhookah.com/index.php...dd2igr8gb99k85

Fast foward to months to today, i've been slowly noticing blue stains on my counters and other various surfaces when this hose comes in contact with them. It was strange at first and I wasn't sure what happened.

I finally put two and two together, the dye on the outside of the hose was staining things as it gets wet, which is weird considering its marketed as a "Washable" Hose.

I then tried to remove any excess dye so that I could actually use it without it staining things. I put it in my bathtub and filled it up with water and witnessed the water go from clear, to as blue as those things you put in your toilet that turn the water blue.

I kept trying to rinse it off, but the only thing I was doing was actually rinsing the dye off the outside of the hose, leaving it now a light blueish whiteish color...

I dunno about you guys, but I find this extremely irritating for a hose that is supposed to be washable...

I really regret my purchase now and wish I had gone with a normal Razan...

I noticed this too. just gotta be careful I guess. the washable aspect refers to the inside of the hose but I agree, the dye on the outside shouldn't come off.

I don't get the fluffy cover wet, I just run water through the hose in the sink.

I'd imagine if you have been leaving it around wet that you've got a WHOLE lot of stains by now

I don't leave it around wet. Just occasionally if im cleaning the hookah and there is a little bit of water on the counter and its barley touching it it stains.

can you post a pic of it now that you washed it? It might actually match my KM better if it was a lighter blue lol

Weird. My black sultan has never left any stains. I've never got it really wet though. Even when I clean it, I use a funnel so no water gets on the shag.

Yea, word of advice, never let it.

I usually clean all my hookah stuff in my bathtub so I guess that's why. Im going to take a photo now.

hmm thats weird, i thought it would just wash clean, i have a pair of paintball gloves that are from a big name manufacture called "Dye" and the joke always was that dye gloves will dye your hands because of the black dye in them, but after a good amount of washes they dont dye any more but stayed black. im guessing the material they used was fully synthetic to let the dye wash out that much.
