Default Foil Storage Solution!

I dont know about you guys, but I dont enjoy carrying around a big roll of aluminum foil whenever I want to smoke, so i would usually just take a sheet, fold it up, and throw it in my case. This would result in it getting completely crushed, and then having to deal with constantly ripping new pieces off was a pain in the ass. So, I took one of those plastic cd cases, took out the disc tray, and just cut tons of foil pieces about that size, and threw them in. Now, I have plenty of pieces of foil, already the right size, in a nice case. And, they dont get all crinkled so i dont have to deal with flattening them out before putting them on a bowl. Hope this helps anyone with the same problem!

Let me go ahead and say I was against buying prepacked foil. When I bought the KM, the package I had included some foil. The foil pack was weird, it was syrian, full of circular foil sheets big enough for the largest tangiers and good on thickness, but the sheets were separated by tissue paper that had some weird designs on it, I decided to get rid of the paper, but the thin box holds like 100 sheets of foil. I've been using it instead of attacking the reynolds wrap.

As for traveling with it and not using the precut stuff, I used to cut it out into squares and put them in a ziplock at the bottom of the case.

great idea, even taking a piece of card board and folding it over and keeping the sheets in it will work well (same way you keep large photo prints from getting messed up)

but the cd case seems like a more solid semi permanent option

Now I just need to find a way to efficiently "cut" the foil to the right size. Originally I would just rip it, but the pieces are too irregularly shaped for the case. So, I tried to use a razor blade, which didn't work. The blade got dull after cutting out about two pieces. So any suggestions for cutting relatively neat foil squares?

easiest way ive found is just using the edge on the foil box, just take the piece you rip off and hold it over the edge and cut it where you want it

The CD case idea is a great idea.. I don't take mine with me very often but this sounds like the best solution I have heard.

I hadn't even thought of that. I guess I just figured that there would be foil wherever I was smoking.
