Default 10 Gal Wine Cask Hookah

A friend just sent me this pic:

That's apparently a 10 gal wine cask. The HoboHookah slid into the mouth perfectly. I guess it weighed a ton, but hit pretty nice!

How badass would it be to get one of those extra large social smoke bowls and extend tht stem down a bunch.. use like 4 three kings and have the whole thing milky white

haha. Im working on the 2-3 hose models of the Hobo as well. Just throw that rig in the middle of the dance floor, people party, smoke, a sight to see.

zOMG! I did the exact same thing with my 1 gal and my qt stem. Except I used some old siphon hose and extended the stem.

I'm suddenly relieved that I'm not the only one looking at my winemaking crap and thinking, "Hmm I bet I could smoke out of that."

hehehe, reminds me of another time.

yea I wouldn't be too gun ho about extending the downstem, you're better off with a shitload of water and an ok sized stem, otherwise the smoke might get really harsh on those long draws if theres too much space for the smoke.

heh. Wow didn't know there were wine cask hookah enthusiasts in the world.

Good call on the tubing to extend the line down. I have some of that, I should send it to my buddy. Would make lugging the cask easier only half filled.

Where can I buy a 10 gal carboy? Those things look nice. Would make the Hobo look like just a huge hookah.

A very brief peek at Google and i found tons of carboys for sell, however the largest was only6.5 gallons.

On a side note i found one that is plastic instead of glass. Not only would the plastic be lighter it would not break thus the loss of a big investment.....not to mention the water all over the floor

I love the idea behind hobohookah I really do (especially you guys are near nyc ) but the price for it is a little high. I mean you could buy a decent hookah for 60 bucks. I really wish I had one.. theres a few bottles i can use it on but the price isnt just cutting it for me. But hey Lol i love that huge 10gal cask

Don't want to sell to hard, but the HoboHookah is a "decent hookah". I smoke out of it all the time, for a couple years now, and it still hits like a champ and tastes great.

I think once some of the reviews come out, people will see the Hobo as more than a novelty, but really a go-to hookah for home use, or anywhere else.

Well I think the hobohookah is pretty sweet. I wouldnt mind having one at all! I travel a lot and cant take my hookah so I am always bitching hehe. The nalgene bottle accessory seems the way to go for me. My only hang up is the $59 price tag as well. If it were like $29-$39 it would be more appealing. I personally dont see it as a novelty, I think its a great invention. I just wish you guys would have hit DC a coouple days earlier when I was there on business. You were probably rolling in as I was flying out hehe.

Ok i ask a friend of mine, who just so happens to be a brewer. A 5 gallon carboy has a 1 3/8" opening.

so now you just got to find a stem that could fit in there and bingo!

You guys should start fabricating your own rigs, kinda like what medusa does.
