Ahkla, 3 Kings, Goldens, and CH QL's are all good brands if you can find any locally.

These are all the ones I like ... Ahkla lights up REALLY FAST! and smoke a lot so light outside. CH light up fast and smoke and fire, so light outside. 3 kings and goldens are standard lighting and produce smoke too. Always light the quick lights in a well ventilated area!

i enjoy the CH QL's because they taste like the natties.

Have you considered buying an electric coil for like 7 -10 bucks from walgreens?
it works on natties

I beg to differ, I light my CH QLs in my kitchen, no harm done .... just the smell of "fireworks" due to the igniter lighting the coals being burnt, doesn't linger for long, and if needed I can turn the kitchen fan on exhaust.

Yeah definitely ******* Hookah coals my friend. Also, if you have a windcover to use with these coals, they are even more awesome. Golden Coals are pretty good, Akhla coals I thought were ok, haven't tried Three Kings, but I highly suggest the ******* Hookah coals. They are top notch

I just got some Excelsior quicklites. They take a while to light but they last a loong time if you're patient - just like women or diesel engines.

I don't use quick lights very often unless I am out somewhere and need the extra convenience of quick light. When I do, it is Ahkla Very fast and easy to light, but lots of smoke and flames at first so I always light outside or by a kitchen or bathroom exhaust fan

From what I have read on here and other places there are only a handful of QL's that are just really bad.

I ve tried probably 7 different brands of quicklights.

My local smokeshops sell 4 different generic rolls of quicklights that I have never seen the names mentioned on here. All of them were terrible, bad taste, slow lighting, quick burning.

Akhla quicklights light quick but don't seem to last long for me and I seem to get a bit of a bitter taste with them.

******* hookah QL have been tasteless and odorless and quicklighting.

Also had rolland instant lights...got a roll for free from somewhere...ewwy.

But i mostly stick to naturals.
