video looked like you had decent clouds, smokes thickness comes from a number of reasons i would say it would mainly depend on the quality of shisha your using but other then that all i can say is make sure no air is leaking out anywhere

cant watch the video but if your smoke is too thin its probably a heat issue. try double layering foil or using a wind cover.

what kind of tobacco are you using? some brands just don't put out big clouds.....

also, a thicker hose would do you a lot of good.

also, double layered foil won't help with smoke i don't think, that is just to prevent burning of the shisha. as long as it tastes good, one layer is great.

im using hookah hookah brand shish. as for a bigger hose, the socket on my hook is so small, and when i look at bigger ones at my local shop the (idk the correct terminology) "plug" is way too wide to fit in mine

Double layering foil for me (both shiny side down) seems to help really retain heat for me...I also cover most of the bowl with it...like two large squares of foil shiny side down...so most of the bowl is covered...this works just about as well as me using a wind cover....i can use minimal amount of coals and still get my shisha hot enough to pump out good smoke ^^

do this....

make sure your foil is shiny side down.
don't put in excessive holes to trap more heat
use 1 coal (i use 40mm)

now for the fun part
cut the bottom half and top half of a coke can to make a poor mans wind cover.
place it on top of your bowl and let to coal idle for 5 minutes

begin smokin with the can on top...
once you start getting clouds you know your hookah is fine

update:

try using 1 coal if you think its burning too fast

A better hose will make a world of difference and will make the smoke more flavorful. i would also look into a phunnel bowl, they seem to help too. Make sure you are not underpacking or packing too tight. Also mess with the water levels, i usually use almost 2" but my hookah is a lot larger. it jsut takes some practice and experimantation, but honestly the clouds are looking pretty large already.
