Default AF problem, possible solution

Ok, so I've been hearing a lot lately about people not liking the new cut of AF, and that it has been giving them problems. I know that it is not traditional to acclimate AF, but has anyone else tried this?

I had finished a bowl of my favorite combo (Apple Jasmine) and forgot to put it in the ziploc back like I normally do. I noticed this the next day, and figured i try to smoke it. The smell and flavor exploded. The smoke was smoother and full of flavor. I suggest anyone else who has AF laying around that they didn't like because of the new cut try this. It's worth a shot at the very least.

I must have an iron respiratory tract because I never get this throat tickle...and none of my friends complain either.

Eh, most tubs I've tried to let acclimate has sort of betrayed me, even while stirring every few hours. AF still isn't nice to me.

I said this awhile back. I got Watermelon that smelled like chemicals, I let it sit out over night and it became smokeable but not enjoyable. I got Plum that smelled great but tasted like chemicals, I let it sit out over night and it tasted a little less like chemicals, but not like it should. No amount of sitting out will take care of the tiny hole clogging cut though.

I had some lemon/mint the other night and it was delightful! right out of the tub, from a brand new bag!

Maybe not even for a full night. I recently had a bag of Apple, that upon opening, I was ready to throw away. I left it out for a couple of hours, and suddenly, it smelled pretty good and smoked really well. I've also had success with Grape and Grape with Mint this way.

Not that this is an end-all solution. You may not always need to do it, and it may not always help. But it is something to consider and it definitely can help.

I think with the addition of a nice mixing for a bit, make all of it a nice, consistent, moist batch.
