Default using af mint as a mixer

Hay gang i was wondering what is every ones opinions on mixing with af mint. It never fails that i seem to either over power my mix and get way to much mint or i get to little and bairley get a over tone of mint. maby im pickey but ive had SB pre-made shishas with mint and it seems that there usually perfect. i usually mix like a 100g in a zip lok bag and let it sit for a hour before smoking any other sugestions for getting that right amount of mint. Im almost thinking i might have to get a small scale and weigh it out perfect every time but really didnt want to go to that extream.

Thanks
Travis

AF mint is historically one of the best mixers on the market. Second only to nakhla mizo mint, in my opinion. You'll need to get your mix ratio straight.most mint will either overpower or underwhelm depending on the amount you use.

It may also help to try packing your bowl in layers eg Put the mint on the bottom and your other flavors on top, that may help with your issue.

i think mixing mint depends on what kind of flavor you are smoking it with bcz. if you smoke lemon and mint lemon is a weak flavor as to mint is a very strong flavor. i would mix it 80% lemon and 20% mint( i use nakhla mint which i highly recommend). but if you smoke double apple with mint you should use 70% DA and 30% mint and that is just my opinion that way the mint is not overpowering and you could always adjust to your taste buds

i guess im dumb i never thought of putting it on the bottem of the bowl like a layer. wow how did i miss that. I thought you should mix it in a bag and let the flavors mix over some time but it makes more sense to layer it and the stronger flavor on the bottom. Im off to try that thanks guys.

All preference.

Smoke it on it's own. If you can't inhale it, then you need cut every amount of mint you think you should add to a mix in half.

I have to agree that AF Mint is very solid, when mixing it, keep in mind the primary flavor, and add as little, or as much, you have to experiment, I use a pinch or two, and that works great.

i agree with prince of hooka, it depends on what you're mixing it with. more mint for stronger flavors such as DA and grape, and less for weaker flavors such as mango/lemon/etc.

but i PERSONALLY never go over 1/3 mint... experiment and see what you like

Sometimes AF Mint gets old and boring for me. My new mixer is HookahHookahs Spearmint, its really refreshing like AF Mint, but tastes a lot like the gum. Its also not as bold as AF, so its you hardly get the overpowering mint flavor.

My two cents.
