Default Empty Valve

So I've been getting a lot excess airflow everytime I go to take a hit from my new hookah, and I traced it to my purge valve, which I unscrewed and realized didn't have a ball bearing.

What would you fine folks suggest to makeshift until I can get something in the mail?

Take a small part of a paper towel and make it into a tight cone, then stick it in and put the metal on top. It'll effectively block it off. You'll have to take out the paper towel to purge it, but it's a good temporary solution that I've done before.

in the long run the airsoft bb is still the best choice. it will never rust, and it seems to not cause condensation to form the way a metal/metal contact point does.

yep, look through find a perfect airsoft BB and use it

EDIT: anyone know if you can use these in MYA hose adapters to make them auto seal? seems like it would make the draw easier (common problem in MYA's)

i just started using the air soft BB and proably improved my smoke by almost a third. when i took my ball out last week for cleaning in my KM it was actually rusty and must not have been seating. easy and long ter solution plus if you go to a wal mart you can get them cheap. Or like I did just grab a few from a buddy im sure he wont miss a few.
