I've never used 3 kings, but I'd stay away from instant lights. Exotica's are my second favorite coal. The only bad thing is you have to cut them up. They are odorless and don't make much of a mess.

But I like using instant lights when I'm in my room so I don't have to go upstairs to use the stove.

nats and instants have their advantages, like instants lighting with a lighter but dont last as long and give a weird smell where as nats take longer, need a stove but do last long. i tried exoticas after 3kings. i would say nats>instants

Naturals > QL's As mentioned above you have to score and break Exotica's. I don't consider that a disadvantage really. You can make the coal the size you need. Lighting them on a gas stove is probaby pretty quick, it takes about 5-10 minutes to light one fully on an electric burner.

As the others already said, there are advantages and disatvantages of both. I prefer naturals, and i think most of us do. It takes time, to light them on an electric or a gas burner, but they last longer, give better heat and do not add any weird taste to the tobacco. I have never used exoticas, but many people here say they are good 3kings are not bad QLs, but as every QLs on the market they do not last so long and they don't give you a good amount of heat. So if u have a gas stove and u can light them on it, than i would say: do it

I used to use 3 kings quick light coals. I switched over to Coco Nara Natural Light coals and I love them, I will never go back. Even though they take a lot longer to light, they last forever and there is absolutely no taste. When I used to use quick lights I found myself lighting a new coal every 10 minutes, it sucked. With these I just sit back and relax and watch them burn FOREVER.

I'd say go Exotica all the way instad of QLs. Nats are tasteless and QLs sem too always add a taste after a while.

Hehe Exoticas are awesome, especially if you can get the locally. I get them for $5 and a box can last me about 3 weeks to a month. Psssh and right next to these coals...They sell 16 piece boxes of Cocos for the SAME price! I'm like WTF lol but w/e I always pick the Exoticas

go exotica... naturals better than QL's even though it may take a little longer to light its worth the wait for a better and more enjoyable smoke..
