Default New to Tangiers Phunnel Bowl - Help

Can some post a pic or explain how to poke the holes for this type of phunnel bowl?

I've tried the "peace symbol" and poking 2 circles around the the funnel, and im still not getting the clouds i get from the basic Egyptian bowl.

I've also poked 1-2 holes in the center, but still no hurricanes.

SB Blue Mist
Started with 3 coals - tried 4, but same results

I don't think i packed it tight. Packed it the same as i would an Egyptian bowl. Should it be packed differently (not as tight)?

When you say "everywhere" did you poke in the center as well?

there's many different techniques to poking holes, everyone has their own preference. here's mine:

i just put 3 rings of holes then fill in any spots that don't have holes, i don't ever poke any holes over the center. but some people do and say it works fine
