Default Cleaning mini-mya with denture tabs

I've got a mini-mya, with the ceramic bowl. I've got a bushel of 50g flavors I'm working through, and really want to flush the old flavor out between sessions.

I know, I know, lemon juice & baking soda is the method of choice. But I really want to use denture cleaner tabs. It just sounds fun. ...So how do I go about actually doing it? How many tabs, any particular brand, how long to let it soak, which parts can I clean this way, etc. etc. I'm not really worried about the base, since it's acrylic. Mostly the stem and especially the bowl.

Thanks yall!

Fill a bowl with enough water to cover stem pieces, drop tab into water and when water turns clear put pieces in. Let soak for between 30 to 60 mins. Rinse and use cleaning brushes on pieces. The base you just fill with warm water and let soak for about the same amount of time and when done rinse and brush out.

dont soak your bowl, base, and stem grommets... just wash them by hand... i did a soaking of my hookah and i had to replace all the grommets because they warped or something... its like it melted but not that extreme...

if use dawn direct foam every time i clean my hookah and never have a problem. No smell and no taste left behind. I wouldn't soak the steam it might rust on you. It has happened to me with my smaller mya.

Wow, thank for such quick answers! I'll take a look at the dawn foam next time I'm at the store. Is it okay to clean the bowl with it? I'm not too worried about rust... I could use an excuse to upgrade my hookah.

When I want a really good clean I let everything soak in rock salt lemon juice and baking soda. I give the stem a really good scrub and clean the outside with a SOS pad to give it a good shine.

I have never had a rust problem before, it may be because my hookah is not made out of stainless steel.
