Default Size of the Hookah

Hey guys! So I was just wandering if the shisha should be harsher out of a smaller hookah. I used quicklites and maybe that was it but I am not sure. I just know after like 30 or so minutes I can't handle it any more. Am I putting too much tobacco in? should I switch coals or something?? let me know!!

just make sure you sprinkle in the shisha and make SURE it's not touching the foil (don't fill it all the way). Second just make sure your not adding too much heat take a coal of if it gets to harsh. I start my bowl with two but take one off after a few minutes. Heat management is key. the size of the hookah won't matter too much.

the size does not matter. My QT never gets harsh and its only 14".

What brand shisha are you using?

I was using Starbuzz blue mist. Nice for a while until it burns. I think I know what was doing it now. Hopefully my next session will be nice. I just ordered Nakhla Earl Grey! Im soo excited! Love tea.

It can't be the size of the hookah. As the others already said just be careful how you pack your bowl, and the other thing is the heat management! I think you should check some informative videos in the video section, it will help you out, and show you how you should do it.

For example here is one:

Make sure your not burning your tobbacco, not only will the smoke be harsh but it'll probably taste like crap. Sprinkle, don't pack, and if you smell that gross smell of burning tobbacco like a cigarette, you'r probably burning the tobbacco, and thats just nasty.

Hey Ben,

The size of the hookah shouldn't make a difference in how long a session lasts. What will make the difference is the size of the bowl being used, the amount of charcoal, what type of charcoal, and the heat being dispersed.

If you have a small hookah and a small bowl, concentrate on packing the bowl in a way that won't restrict air from traveling through (fluffing the tobacco in works), and use less coals with a windcover or a large piece of foil wrapped around the bowl to help manage the heat.

Hope this helps!

Just for the sake of mentioning, make sure you're not putting the coal in the middle of the bowl
