Default Recovering Burning Shisha

So ive been thinking about shisha burning. The other day i had some HF and i threw on the windcover to get it started quicker and it got burnt. After that i took off the windcover and took off one of the two coconaras i had on my clay egyptian bowl. But even with one coal it was still harsh. Have any of you guys (girls) ever been able to get a decent smoke after you burnt the shisha, it just seems to stay harsh no matter what i do afterwards...idk, Hookah freak isnt the best tobacco either but still.

Well, im smoking some AF cocktail right now and ive tried a few new methods and its working great. Im putting foil shiny side up, a larger gap between foil and shisha, and more holes. and of course no windcover

For some reason, i do not posses the heat management powers of keeping it shiny side down. It just seems that coconaras are too hot for me. maybe i should try CH coals...

is the bowl overflowing with shisha? are you using 2 pieces of foil? are you using like 20 million coals? i usually put 2 coals on for af and it works great.
