What kind of hose do you have?
If you just bought a new hose, like a Cobra, Razan, or a Grand....you should probably blow some air thorugh it,
But if you actually getting tobbacco debris, you might want to try a different bowl like a vortex or phunnel, so the tobacco and juices don't fall through the holes.
And give your hookah a good cleaning.

Yeah its normal with non washable hoses. its resin from the smoke sitting in your hose. Meaning
A you can shake and bend with some blowing action to get some of it out
B buy a washable hose, or just another hose

if it's new, then it's just the new hose crap that you can blow out. if it's not new, then it's getting hold and needs replacing.

Ive done this before and it works great, but one day i did it when it was humid outside and the air compressor took the humid air and got my hose wet....but the sun dried it out again

oh no bro! those cheapos aren't washable. non washable hoses are made of cardboard and metal. your rusting out your hose! and i believe all or most cobras arent washable either. i suggest saving up $25 and getting a nice washable wide gauge hose. and i have seen razans and nammors fit lil baby MYAs

This is your problem right here I think. If its just a cheapo hose, it will be non-washable. The moisture from the lemon juice is making your hose rust / rot from the inside out. You want to replace that sucker, because you're getting some serious funk in your mouth right now.

Do *not* put any liquid of any kind in a non-washable hose.

Spending the $25 on a Razan or Nammor will be the best hose investment you'll ever make.

Yea my cobra I can't wash, i just blow some compressed air through it after ever session so no flavor sticks to it.
But I'd go with a Grand, The Razans and Namours are good, but the removable mouthpiece sometimes gives me trouble, but the my grands works just as well as the Razans and namours.

I bet you $$ it's wood from the hose. Sand it in the middle, it'll go away I had the same problem.

I have never had smoke debris problems in any hose... I have a clear DIY hose I have been using for about a year and a half, it's still clear with no buildup in the hose or the wooden pieces.

if its the el cheapo its probably not washable unless its one of the black rubber hoses with plastic tips. yep gota love the settled smoke or rust bits. if the hose is not washable it probably wont be easy to fix and unless its a nice hose probably will be better and easier to get a new washable one.

i started sucking the smoke out of my hose when i am done and it keeps the residual taste down and doesnt get the junk in it and i only wash them every few week (smoke 2-3 hours a day usually going back and forth between the 2)

+1, I love the draw of my razan, but sometimes I have problems getting an airtight seal on the mouth pieces. (You can easily check for air-tightness by covering the grommet end of your hose with your thumb and trying to take a drag. Just for everyone's fyi.)

usually when u get debris it means the hose is rusting... I use all washable hoses (daily use) in my lounge. I dont have the problem...and usually baby hookahs hoses are not made of good quality. def get a washable hose. I like the mya washable for my lounge but for my personal use i use a grand.

I also have 3 cobra hoses and all of them are now in bad shape. I thought that the debris was from the actual hose, but after disassembling one of the handles, i found some rust and old soot built up in the cracks. Theyre now rotting away in my basement, but im holding on to them incase i ever want to take a hose apart to help me with making my own hookah hose.

If you don't have access to an air compressor you can always just smack it onto the floor a few times to loosen up the gunk and then blow the debris out. It's gross, and will make you appreciate the Razan hoses that much more.

However, I have noticed recently with the Razan's that the stem pieces have gotten a little larger in diameter and not fitting as well as older models I have. Anyone else notice that?

As vegasvic said, smack onto the floor and you should be fine. I think leather hoses are much better than washable hoses because they hold the taste especially if you smoke one flavor. This is just my opinion.

After every use make sure you blow really hard throuh the hose to remove the left over flavour init, and never wash a non washable hose, i learnt the hard way
