ha this has been the main problem with all the new models. It's how mine was as well. You can sand down the grommet like Scoop said. Or you can use some sort of lubricant.

Try some lube called "Astroglide". Product lubes up holes very well and is non toxic. Find it at your nearby pharmacy in the personal lube section.

i have never used sandpaper, nor any lube or oil. when this happens to me water is all that's needed on the grommet. I had a customer actually drive out to show me how hard it was to get in and out and with a little water it was so much easier, also it wouldn't hurt if you biys hit the gym once in awhile too (reminder to myself, it's been a couple of months and need to hit the gym)

Olive oil is the best thing to use, just dip your finger in it and then rub it on the grommet. It keeps it nice and airtight and it slides in and out like butter (i do not recommend using butter, that is a dairy product and it could get some sort of mold or other thing on it.

yeah hit the gym!

Seriously, if it's hard to pull out it's doing its job. Don't fix it if it's not broken. Just throw some water on it.
