I actually really like the open top concept and so far it has been retaining enough heat for my liking. I'm used to using a closed top and there is an obvious difference but nothing to write home about. It's also nice to be able to move coals without taking it off etc.
I'm really lucky to have grabbed some this time, third time is the charm. It seems every time I look to place an order at least 1 of the flavors I want is out of stock if not more.
