I did not get into it here but Champagne is a region in France that produces a distinctly dry and carbonated white wine known as Champagne. True champagne is very dry with only the slightest hints of grape remaining after the fermentation process. Much of the actual flavor comes from the strain of yeast used and the flavor profile of each one. Sometimes multiple are used. It's crisp, sour and has an effervescence that many seek on it's own. There are varying degrees of dryness in champagne but they all start at a level that most people consider too dry for a red or white wine.

This tasted like a sweet white wine to me which is not how a champagne tastes. As I stated in the video i believe it would be better titled as a white wine flavor. But that is just my opinion. I hope that clears up any confusion
