Default tangiers super chief?

hey everyone this is my first time posting at hookah pro but i have been reading a lot. I like this place it seems to be really chill. Anyways i have a question about the tangiers super chief. I bought the small from mn hookah and have read reviews on it. I was wondering how everyone uses it with 33 mm instant lite coals? do you all break it into halves and place 4 halves around the ring? and when the coals die out can you just plop the same amount on the same spot without it tasting like coal after? any answers would be greatly appreciated!

Fisrt, welcome to the forums
During the session it's good to move the coal around the bowl, whatever kind of bowl that is. That ensures that the shisha is heated more evenly and produces a smoother smoke. If you leave the coal on one spot, the shisha under it will burn and you ''l have the burned taste wherever you place the coal later on.
I've never used 3kings coals (although i used other brands of 33mm's) i dont know how much heat these produce. My advice still applies with every kind of coal, especially with naturals
Cheers

When I use QL's I just leave the disk whole and start on the outer edge and move it every 10 mins until you get all the way around then move it to the middle. I have tried breaking them and all the other ways but havent found any benefit. The good thing about leaving teh disk whole is if it gets too hot, move a portion of it over the edge.

Well with 33mm just place 2 on the bowl. The super chief requires more heat because of the large space in the middle, keep some off the edge. try making the wholes a little bit bigger to balance out the bigger amount of coals. If you still have any problems let me know. The coals usually don't need to be moved on a Super chief until the taste starts to get unpleasant. You should be able to leave a coal in there original spots until the coal is dead.

Is the super chief better than a funnel?
