Default Mya Auto Seals

I recently ordered my first Hookah and received it about a week ago. I went with the Mya Gyro with three hoses. I am finding that when I have more than one hose attached, the auto sealers do not function 100% and my fellow smokers must cover their hose end in order for the current smoker to obtain the proper amount of smoke.

Has anyone else had issues with the auto seal system by Mya? Is their any other resolution other than to cover the unused ends during a multi-smoker session?

Thanks...

to be honest i don't think auto seal is cracked up to all its suppose to be, i have owned a couple different hookahs with auto seal and some work sometimes some never work, i think its just best to have the other person plug his/her end and it should be fine. When buying a multi hose hookah I never really look for auto seal anymore I suggest you do the same.

i don't have a MYA, but a syrian w/ an autoseal - it too didn't live up to the hype. All I did was either plug the unused port or cover the other mouthpiece. Eh, it's a good idea, but all it is is another ball bearing.

Hmm, my auto seal on my acrylic works fine. But i also don't mind plugging the hose, it's a habit.

The autoseal on my Syrian works great... it affects the draw a bit but it's a trade off
