Default April 1st tax

So the day is getting nearer and I wondered if anyone knew how much of an increase we expect to see on tobacco. I have more than enough shisha to keep me happy for some time, but I dont know weither to stock up now on flavors I like, or wait to see how much shisha will cost.

I was told by a few vendors that prices would be going up $8/Kilo. Prices should stay the same for now, so if I were you make an order before next week.

I've been told $1.25 per 250g in tax, and some tobacco, not naming names, rhymes with Farcuz and Jakhla, will be adding another $1 per 250g to top, however, now would be the time to stock up since clocks a tickin, and one thing we know is prices ARE going up,
John

John is right.

All I gotta say.

The tax issue isnt a huuuuuuggge deal...its what John is getting at....lining wallets at an opportune moment....and the retailers...arent going to be seeing this effect.

I am not one to moan and complain....but this is gonna suck for all of us. ALL!

My lovely state of Michigan is looking into DOUBLING the state loose tobacco tax from 32% to 64% in the next year or so, so some states might end up much more royally fucked than others. Stupid governer.

Shisha will only go up $1 to $2 per 250 gr. So not that much. How much do we spend on a night out?? Alot more than $2......... so no need to panic or binge buy........... just relax......breath deeply and expel wonderful shisha plumes...........

Couldn't have said it better myself. We all just need to sit back, relax, & smoke like nothings wrong. because honestly nothing is wrong $1.50 more isnt gonna kill us. i mean think about it, we buy 250 of shisha for like what 7 -9 bucks every few weeks. cigarette smokers are starting to pay those prices like EVERY DAY be thankful its not that bad for us. happy smokin ya'll
