Default Whats the deal with herbal type "tobacco"

Ok, so I got my Saalam sample and tried it out tonight (Tiramisu) and I must say the flavor was very intense and good, I also had the EASIEST heat management ever.

One thing though, and maybe it's just because i've never smoked this herbal replacement stuff but it was a little wierd for me. Im saying wierd in a "what exactly am I smoking, maybe I should stick to tobacco" wierd. Just kind of prevented me from relaxing, that and the lack of buzz or anything kinda made me feel uncomfortable. I mean dont get me wrong I was very impressed with the flavor and quality of product (Saalam) but it was just wierd.

maybe it's b/c I smoke kilos of Nakhla too lol.

Herbal shisha contains bagasse, which is a toxic dust which comes from the sugar cane plant used to make herbal shisha.

it's like light cigarettes or coke diet .. either u do the real deal or you dont use it at all.. thats my opinion.. the 'light' is always worse I think.. I'd rather cut down very much on smooking shisha rather then smoking those stuff.. Ok have never actually treid salam only soex but its still no option for me..

herbal shishas are made from sugar cane bagasse ...the fibers that are left after the sugar cane has no juice in it...it has been confirmed that it causes lung problems..id say stick to tobacco we know what it does...we dont know what this herbal thing does there is by no means a garantee that its in any way safer than tobacco

amen,

my dentist told me to stop using sugar in my tea and use an artificial sweetener, i smiled, nodded, and said ok. waked out and thought "hurt my teeth, or hurt my liver... ill go with the teeth, they can be fixed more easily"

I really love the Spiced Chai from Saalaam. The smoke was amazing and flavor was unlike anything i have ever tried. The thing about the dust though, idk, someone should try to test it.....im skeptical

yeah this is why i smoke herbal about once every 6 months.
it takes away from the relaxation, which (after a few years) i've found to be my favorite part of smoking.
i'd rather smoke tobacco anyway. it just feels right.
plus nobody knows if herbal is better or worse than tobacco anyway.
and i know what my tobacco is, and what it's got in it.
