Default Baja Tobacco

Has anyone tried Baja tobacco? I noticed it on thehookah.com and looks pretty cool.
They give the description:
Baja is made from Dominican tobacco and is packaged right in the United States. Baja's subtle fruit flavoring along with its full-bodied tobacco aroma makes it the ideal hookah tobacco choice for the cigar enthusiast or anyone else who likes to enjoy a real tobacco tasting shisha. Baja is also packaged in a 250g wooden box with a sliding lid which you will not want to throw away once you are done.

Has a cool wooden box and is pretty cheap ($9 for 250g)

I'd love to have one of the boxes. They would be excellent for my D&D figures... I mean, storage for things that aren't nerdy. Like my love of FOOTBALL! HAHAHA

I've tried out 3 different flavours and I can't say i'm impressed with any of them. Two are pretty sun-standard and one is o.k. but far from note worthy. Don't think i'll be bothering with brand again.

I just tried the Peach flavour and it is a good deal better then other two. I have noticed that the heat management on this brand is a little tricky so I may end up revising my earlier review somewhat.

I went on a spending spree on Baja awhile back and will never get to it all. It's interesting to see a resurgence of interest in this brand. Send me a PM if you are interested in getting ahold of some.

As Mr.B stated above, JMs stopped production of Baja and produced something similar to Starbuzz under the JMs moniker.

Yeah their are two different kinds of Baja their is the old batch, which is a dark red color, and very dry. Then new baja that they made before introducing JM's. They new stuff is a bright red, very juice, a shredded cut, and doesn't give you that hint of cigar. If you have the old batch well you are lucky. Im sure fans of the old stuff would pay top dollar.

I have the old stuff.

To be honest, I tried this stuff again last night and I've really grown to appreciate its tobacco flavor. If you want fruity with the presence of tobacco (kind of old world / new world hybrid). Do what you can to get ahold of this stuff.
