Default What a day!

Decided to hit up Dearborn Mi today to find some good shisha.
I walked into Al-Amir. I didn't expect to see the beautiful AF 36" solid i have been drooling over.

I got a killer deal. I walked out with the hookah and a box of nakhla sweet melon for $80 out the door. WTF!?!? They were tagged at the usual 130 but the guy was really cool. I suggest this shop if you are in the area.

I will post pics.

One question though. The stem seems wobbly from the base. Anyone notice this?

I had a few friends who wanted to hookah, and they thought i was gonna bring my trusty bambino. Boy did their eyes bug out!
This hookah seems to smoke really well. The flavor was good on the orange al fakher we smoked. Nice and chill.

Anyways so i mainly just want to know about the wobbliness, and let you guys know im on cloud nine.

Get your base grommet tighter, use some electrical tape or get another better fitting grommet

Nice buy! I got my AF when HJ had them on sale and an epic deal going. I got it with 1 250g of nahkla for 85$ including shipping!

most Syrian Narghile require a #26 grommet. Be sure your using one. If not than the above mentioned fixes will work.

Yes, the issue is obviously the base grommet. However, i dont see why it wouldn't be a tight fitting stock grommet that comes with all al fakher hookahs. There were a dozen of these all rigged up the same...

I know this is not related to your post but there is a great place in Dearborn called "Shatila", they have the best Baklawa I've ever tasted.

Shatilla is the Shiz man!

I worked at pistachio's on 15 mile near orchard lake road. They sold all shatilla pastries and ice cream. It was a sweet deal, my boss would always give me a little tub of ice cream at the end of the night. The apricot was fantastic, you could feel the fuzz on the chunks of fruit.

I also liked those cheese squares with orange stuff on top. That was a great job, the local jews and arabs would all hang out.
